Why Odoo for a Moroccan SME

Odoo already covers what an SME runs on daily: quotes, orders, invoices, inventory, purchasing, accounting, HR. You are not buying software written from scratch — you start from a proven base and only pay for development where your business departs from the standard.

That is where most ERP projects fail, and it is exactly what we do: an architecture practice does not track its work like a car rental company, and a pharmacy does not carry the same traceability duties as a tool distributor. A generic ERP imposes its processes. A well-integrated Odoo adopts yours.

Odoo or custom development: how to choose

Odoo if your need looks like business management — selling, buying, stocking, invoicing, paying salaries. You start from a mature base, and the budget goes into your specifics rather than rewriting what already exists.

Custom development if the software *is* your product: a platform for your end customers, a mobile app, a subscription SaaS. Forcing Odoo into that role costs more than a dedicated build.

We do both, so we have no stake in pushing you toward either. The first conversation settles it.

2. Configuration — installation, setup of the selected modules, chart of accounts, users and access rights.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Odoo project cost?

It depends on the number of modules, the volume of data to migrate and above all the custom development required. We provide a detailed, free quote within 24 hours of a first conversation about your processes.

Odoo Community or Odoo Enterprise?

Both work. Community is enough for many SMEs and carries no licence cost; Enterprise adds features and vendor support. We advise based on your actual needs, not on a commission.

How long does a deployment take?

A few weeks for a standard scope — sales, purchasing, inventory, invoicing. It takes longer as soon as a business module has to be built: the initial scoping lets us commit to a reliable date before starting.

Can our existing data be migrated?

Yes. Customers, suppliers, products, stock and history can be imported from Excel, CSV or a legacy system. Migration is part of the project, not an option billed afterwards.

Are our teams trained?

Yes, training is included. It runs on your own configuration and your own data, not a generic demo — that is what separates an ERP people use from one abandoned after three months.

Do you handle maintenance after go-live?

Yes. We offer maintenance and support plans: fixes, enhancements, new modules and version upgrades.
